Dear Martha,
Thank you so much for sending me a copy of the book, Formation Generation, and for your kind words of support. Todd and I were happy to receive your message and we appreciate your thoughtfulness for taking the time to write. God bless.
Thank you again and all the best to you and your family.

Dear Mr. Kurz,
This thank you is long overdue. Here is what I posted on my Facebook account for you:
"Formation Generation is a must read for anyone expecting a child. Week by week you will be guided through praying for every aspect of your child's formation, from development of vital organs to displaying the fruits of the spirit."
My husband, Kris, and I have always prayed for each one of our children throughout every pregnancy, but with this guide our prayers were more focused and specifically directed. We have seen the fruits of our prayers realized in our newest child, Levi who is now six months. People are often asking, 'Has he always been such a happy, healthy baby?' My answer is a resounded, 'Yes, he is exactly what we prayed for!'
I encourage every expecting couple to get this book and begin praying through your growing child's formation. You and your family will be truly blessed.
Thanks again!"
Blessed for Generations go Come,
Cheri Bofill

Dear Sir,
I want to tell you how very much I like your book... You have really been instructed of the Lord to bring these marvelous precepts & principles to the families who will so greatly benefit form them.
I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it (even tho’ at 71 I’m well past the years that I can use it!!) but the concept is so very wonderful and something my husband and I have wished to see brought out for years & you have surpassed what we had in mind.
We are confident that many families will be blessed beyond measure as they daily make these prayers an intrigal part of each day...
Please be encouraged that you have presented a very needful concept for young couples to bring Godly seed into the world. Not only does it change the baby, but it also changes them, as well. It can’t get better than that! I have already given several of your books away, and have five left, so I am behind what you are doing.
How blessed your wife and children are to have such a Godly man at the head of your home.
In His Love,
Gloria Young
What an amazing book! I never heard of the concept & Brian and I are so blessed by it. I wish we had it from Day 1, but we will certainly use it again if God blesses us with any more children. Already, Brian now prays right next to my belly because of the advice in the book.
Thank You - Thank You - Thank You,
Alexis
Dear Robert,
I would like to thank you very much for your most impressive book. I feel confident that your deep perspective regarding the subject of formation will benefit a countless number of people for generations to come. I thank God everyday for people like you who help shed light in this world, especially in these times.
Sincerely,
Angela
Recently, while speaking in Idaho, I met a fascinating man named Robert Michael Kurz. Mr. Kurz has written an intriguing book titled FORMATION GENERATION (Tate Publishing: 2009) that calls for "A New Generation Formed in Prayer."
Believing as he does that human life begins at conception — a premise with which I totally agree. Kurz believes we should pray for our children regularly from the point of conception through birth, and of course thereafter. Week by week, FORMATION GENERATION reveals what takes place at every stage of pregnancy and suggests specific prayer that every stage of development your pre-born child will grow physically and spiritually as planned.
For example, between weeks 4-8 the baby's heart, brain, and basic organs develop. During this period, Kurz suggests that the parents during this period "pray your child will indeed have a rich, deep, and whole-hearted love for God;" "pray the Lord God to give the Spirit without measure to your child;" "pray your precious little pre-born will earnestly have the desire to search for God with all their heart and soul and find Him;" and "pray your pre-born baby's mind would be set on and focused towards the Holy Spirit so that they will have fullness of life and always have peace within themselves."
Between weeks 9-11 the lungs, liver, kidneys, face, eyes, arms, legs, and fingers develop. "Pray God would give breath to and form the spirit of your pre-born baby. Pray God would instill within the spirit of your child the desire for godliness." And, "Pray that your pre-born's liver would be strong and untainted." "Pray the kidneys of your pre-born child to be able to purify the baby's blood efficiently and properly for optimum health;" and "Pray for all the facial features of your precious pre-born. Pray that the muscles and bones would form and develop so they would be just as God planned. Pray that your child would have all the facial features that would reflect a beautiful combination of both parents. Pray that all who look upon the face of your child would always see a godly countenance. Pray for their expressions to be vivid and clear."
At this point you may be thinking, "That's a nice thought, but most people have more important things to do." But think about it: Are we not commanded to pray? And does prayer change things? If so, then what would be the result if a whole generation of Christian young people were thoroughly prayed for from conception to birth, that God would guide each facet of their physical, mental and spiritual development through birth and thereafter as well? Is it not likely that this "Formation Generation" would have great benefits and advantages over others that had not been the beneficiaries of such prayer?
This is what Kurz means when he speaks of the "Formation Generation," a generation of children whose Christian parents have bathed them in prayer from conception to birth. Read this book, and more important, follow its suggestions. And if you don't have any pre-born children, formation prayer works for grandchildren, nieces and nephews, children of friends, and even children of total strangers.
Some books change our way of thinking. Others extend our thinking into areas we had not considered. Kurz's book does the latter.
Buy and read FORMATION GENERATION!
Sincerely,
Dr. John Eismoe

Jolene Andrews - Seattle, WA - Formation Generation:
This is a great book for parents to begin praying for their child at conception. It is biblically based and Holy Spirit inspired. Robert takes theology to a street level and it is a book that will change our nation.
Richard V. Howard - Boise, ID - One of a Kind:
Raising happy, well-adjusted kids actually begins soon after conception. We parents all sort of know that, but the author provides objective evidence and treats us to his own experience of father-parenting his own children in the womb. This easy-to-read book is the ideal gift for parents-to-be regardless of their religious persuasion or lack thereof.
Ken Malgren - Fantastic Book for Parents AND Grandparents:
This is a wonderful book for parents and grandparents. Start your baby out right because bonding really does begin in the womb. The book is well written and beautifully illustrated. It is a great read. I gave copies to my children who are having babies.
Dr. C. J. Kurz - Standard Issue:
This book should be standard issue for every pregnancy!! Not only does it provide a ton of great medical information describing the physical growth and formation that is taking place each and every day in the womb, this amazing book also shows you how you can actively join God in this incredible process each and every day! God has obviously invited us to participate in creation, why should that stop at conception?
Casey Caston - Orange County, CA - Get Involved:
This book is awesome! During my wife's pregnancy there was little that I could do to get involved. After reading this book, I learned much about laying a foundation for my child life's through prayer. Using this book as a guide, prayer became a way for me to invest in my daughter's life before she even came.
Stephen J. O’beirne - Meridian, ID - A walk on the parent side:
A beautifully written book, that speaks to the beauty of having children and God in our lives. This books offers "expectant' fathers the means to connect more deeply with their unborn children and enhance their marriage along the way. A spiritual and enlightening experience, that we can all be involved in. A must for new and seasoned parents alike.
Maureen B. Palm - A Deep Connection:
This book provides a simple, yet deep way of connecting with your baby and the Creator while he/she is being formed. It provides detailed descriptions of the step by step process your baby goes through while being prepared to enter this earth. It is beautiful and absolutely awe inspiring!
Michael Freeman “wordhaver” - Boise, ID - Fascinating spiritual journey:
We have five children in our family and we would have loved to have had this book as we went through each pregnancy together. To see how the child is developing in the womb and along with the added spiritual insights and prayers offered in this book was just AWE-some. I picked up the book on a quiet Saturday evening and literally had to read it all the way through in one sitting - I just had to finish the journey! This book will open your eyes and enrich your experience as expectant parents. Who would have thought just how much we as parents (especially as a dad) we can get involved in our kids lives - right in the womb. Dads, if you feel sidelined during pregnancy, this book will give you a powerful way to get involved - and enrich your marriage at the same time.
Daniel S. Jewell - Powerful:
As a brand new grandfather I was blessed to have Mr. Kurz' book to help me pray for my grandson while still in the womb. The book is a further inspiration for me to continue to pray for him now that he's outside! Highly recommended.
B. Carter - Northwest USA - A Nation of Beautiful Children:
Formation Generation is not just for expecting parents, it's for everyone. We need to teach our children (5+) of the incredible importance of the blessedness God gives us in children, from the moment of conception until called home.
